At Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD), we are committed to Trusted Care, Better Health for Everyone, and we are looking for an experienced Level 3 Dietitian to join our Community Allied Health (CAH) team.

About the Opportunity

As a Senior Dietitian within Community Allied Health, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-informed nutrition services to clients living in the community. You will work with individuals experiencing acute and chronic health conditions, supporting improved health outcomes through tailored nutrition care.

This role also includes leadership and supervisory responsibilities, contributing to service development and ensuring effective delivery of dietetic services across the Central Coast region.

In this role you will:
- Deliver person-centred nutrition assessment and intervention to clients in community settings, including home visits, clinics, and group programs.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to Level 1/2 Dietitians and Allied Health Assistants.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, holistic care for clients.
- Contribute to quality improvement, research activities, and service development initiatives.
- Manage caseloads and staffing across CAH sites to ensure timely and effective service provision. For more information about this role, please view the .

About You

We are looking for someone who has:
- Eligibility for full membership with the DAA and a current NSW Class C driver's licence.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical nutrition, particularly in managing acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and palliative care.
- Proven ability to lead, supervise, and support staff while fostering a positive and cohesive team environment.
- Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience delivering dietetic services in community settings, including client education and group programs.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to working within a multidisciplinary team. Applicants must have current work rights in Australia or be a permanent resident or citizen. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants who do not meet this requirement.
