Overview

SSW is hiring a Videographer (AV / Shooter / Editor) for our Sydney team.

The role will support SSW TV, a YouTube channel with more than 37,000 subscribers and 1.5 million views, and help shape how we share knowledge with the tech world.

What You'll Do

Film, edit, and publish engaging content for YouTube and other platforms

Set up and maintain our in-house video studio and livestream gear

Collaborate with developers, marketers, and clients on creative projects

Use AI tools to enhance video production

Capture and tell stories of developers discussing AI and technology

What You Bring

Must‐Haves:

Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency

2–3 years of video production experience and a robust portfolio

Experience operating DSLR cameras and live‐streaming software

Knowledge of studio lighting and audio capture

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Suite

Experience creating TikTok‐style video content

Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills

A natural curiosity for tech and a love of AI tools

Bonus Points For:

Adobe After Effects, Canva, WordPress

SEO knowledge and photography experience

Familiarity with pre‐sales or client pitching

Work Environment

Full time position with 4 days in the office (Neutral Bay, Sydney) and 1 day work from home

Occasional travel to other SSW offices (Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle)

Competitive salary range $85,000 to $110,000 plus super, dependent on seniority and experience
