As an Architectural Designer (Designer), you will support the delivery of creative and functional design outcomes across architectural, interior, and urban projects. Working with senior team members, you will contribute to design development, prepare documentation, and assist with project coordination, ensuring designs align with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements. You will bring a solid foundation in design principles, developing capability in digital design and documentation tools, and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and stakeholders. This role requires a growing level of autonomy, clear and professional communication, and a willingness to support graduates and junior team members as part of a collaborative studio culture. Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of relevant postgraduate professional experience in architectural, interior, urban, or multidisciplinary design practice
- Completion of accredited bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, Interior Design, Urban Design, or a related design discipline
- Well-rounded project experience across concept design, design development, and detailed documentation, appropriate to the discipline and project scale.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Professional experience using Revit or comparable documentation platforms relevant to the discipline.
- Proficiency with Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent modelling and graphic tools used in architectural, interior, or urban design workflows. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Conceptual, conceptual, design, and graphic skills applied across architectural, interior, or urban design contexts
- Experience contributing to design development, technical detailing, and documentation, with exposure to construction or delivery phase activities appropriate to the discipline
- Ability to resolve design and technical challenges through thoughtful, innovative, and collaborative problem solving
- Working knowledge of materials, products, systems, and construction or delivery methods relevant to the discipline and project scale
- Familiarity with project coordination processes, including engagement with consultants and stakeholders, with support from senior team members
- Experience assisting with consultant and stakeholder coordination during various stages of project delivery
- Ability to develop and test design options collaboratively within project teams, and to take initiative in response to direction from Project Leadership
- Ability to develop, edit, and coordinate drawings, models, and visual material in support of project requirements
- Solid organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage priorities effectively
