Job Responsibilities
- Product and Supplier sourcing: resourceful and creative in procurement planning that meet business needs in timely, cost‑effective manner and of valuable quality.
- Price negotiation: researching the market and comparing offers to secure the best price on all procurement.
- Contracts and agreements: managing the terms and conditions of all procurement contracts with suppliers.
- Quality control: ensuring purchased goods and services aligned with agreed standards.
- Risk management: mitigating supply chain risks by diversifying suppliers, streamlining logistics operations and planning alternatives for potential disruptions.
- Continuous improvement: identifying ways to reduce costs and lead times.
- Cross‑department collaboration: working with Finance and Operations to align procurement strategies with company goals.
- Maintenance of the procurement system (Check SCM) including setting‑up and changes in user, system parameter, suppliers, products and pricing.
- Product and F&B; trends: possess up‑to‑date knowledge and market trends on related product innovation and technology. Job Requirements
- A Bachelor Degree in Business Admin, Supply Chain Management or related field or experience equivalent to same.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement, ideally within customer service or hospitality.
- A friendly, customer focused attitude with the strive to provide total customer satisfaction.
- Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients.
- A high standard of grooming and personal presentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems.
- Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
