About the role Bidfood Dubbo is seeking an Administration Assistant/Quality Assurance Support to assist the branch with general purchasing administration as well as ensuring food safety, workplace safety, and compliance standards. The role involves maintaining quality assurance systems, records (including HACCP, food safety, purchasing administration, and WHS compliance), and supporting smooth day‑to‑day branch operations. Key responsibilities
- Supporting purchasing administration, including purchase orders, supplier communication, stock discrepancies and invoice processing.
- Assisting with supplier follow‑ups, reporting, and day‑to‑day branch administration.
- Maintaining purchasing and compliance records and documentation.
- Supporting food safety and WHS compliance requirements.
- Assisting with audits, reporting, and general administrative duties.
- Liaising with suppliers, warehouse teams, and office staff to support smooth branch operations. About you You might come from an admin, hospitality or compliance background – what matters most is attention to detail, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility. You’ll thrive if you’re organised, communicate well and take pride in doing things properly. This Monday to Friday role offers stability, balance and the chance to be part of a supportive team. - Robust attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Confidence working with confidential and sensitive information.
- Excellent computer and record‑keeping skills (Excel proficiency a plus).
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Motivation to learn and manage diverse administrative tasks.
- Experience in food safety or WHS compliance (advantageous but not essential).
