- Corporate As a Contract Manager within our Defence team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality services that support critical government operations. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, customers, and internal teams to ensure the smooth and successful delivery of the Defence Marine Support Services (DMSS) contract. This role blends operational delivery with strategic thinking, allowing you to influence outcomes and drive continuous improvement. Based in Sydney, you’ll be part of a collaborative and purpose-driven environment. Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day contract delivery to meet performance and profit targets
- Building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and quality standards
- Overseeing reporting, documentation, and contract administration
- Supporting team alignment, engagement, and workforce coordination
- Identifying risks and implementing practical mitigation strategies Qualifications
- Experience in contract management, Maritime, Defence, or related environments
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging diverse stakeholders
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Understanding of governance, risk, and financial management principles
- A collaborative and solutions-focused mindset
- Attention to detail with robust organisational skills
- Ability to achieve and maintain a Defence Security Clearance of Baseline or higher Additional Requirements
- Comprehensive probity assessment, including a National Police Check, is a key part of the selection process.
- Must be an Australian Citizen to obtain Defence Security Clearance – AGSVA Baseline Clearance. Benefits
