About the Role Are you passionate about making a difference in Australia’s transition to renewable energy? We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Power Purchasing and Demand Management Coordinator to help drive the success of our national electric vehicle (EV) charging network. You’ll play a key part in ensuring we buy electricity smartly, keep our network running smoothly, and support projects that help protect our environment and communities. - Support Energy Procurement: Work closely with energy providers to ensure fair and reliable power purchasing. Help manage contracts, track usage, and respond to billing questions.
- Demand Management: Develop and deliver strategies to manage electricity demand and support grid stability. Contribute to innovative projects, like integrating battery storage and renewable energy.
- Data and Reporting: Analyse and report on energy costs and performance, supporting transparency and continuous improvement.
- Work Across Teams: Collaborate with finance, engineering, and sustainability experts to meet our energy and environmental goals.
- Champion Compliance: Ensure we meet all regulations and uphold NRMA’s standards for safety, ethics, and sustainability. What You’ll Bring
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Electrical Engineering, or are working towards one—or have equivalent experience in energy, utilities, or EV infrastructure.
- Great communicator and collaborator.
- Comfortable with Excel and keen to learn new digital tools.
