This position is ideally suited to someone looking to make their first move from a consulting / Big 4 audit firm or from a Financial Services Group.

A person, who thrives in a detail-orientated role with exposure to senior leadership and can deliver optimal policies and governance across finance.

Responsibilities:

Completion of month-end accounting activities, including preparation of manual journals and balance sheet reconciliations.

Accounts payable activities.

Preparation of revenue calculations and customer fee invoices.

Cash flow forecasting and monitoring financial compliance.

Prepare quarterly board papers including financial statement analysis and dividend / capital management recommendations.

Delivery of annual financial statements and clearance of audit queries.

Building and maintaining a cooperative relationship with the global team.

Provide assistance to the manager & team with other ad hoc financial analysis and project work.

Updating and documenting procedures.

This includes an opportunity to identify, suggest and implement ongoing process improvements within the team.

Experience:

Tertiary qualification in accounting.

CA / CPA qualified or working towards a qualification.

2+ years' experience in a Financial Reporting role.

Excellent communicator with strong report writing capabilities.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to build solid relationships across a variety of stakeholders at differing levels of leadership.
