Design Manager (Sydney) (New South Wales)

The Company Our client is a medium sized residential, commercial and mix-use builder. Delivering projects for both public and private sector clients up to $200M. The Role The successful Design Manager will service the business heading up the design management team and plays a key part in stakeholder and client relationships at the early stages of the project. You will work closely with the estimating and delivery teams to develop work winning strategies and identify value engineering proposals to ensure efficient and cost-effective construction detailing. You will manage, lead and mentor several Design Managers whilst working closely with the senior leadership team reporting to the Construction Manager/ Project Manager. Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor and/or Master's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture or similar
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a Design Management Role for a Builder
- Project Management Experience demonstrating Time, Cost and Scope understanding
- Demonstrated experience in functional briefs, consultant scopes and engagements
- Experience working on class 2 residential developments over $100M
- Demonstrated experience and use of MS Project, Excel & Aconex
- Good temperament with established presentation and communication skills Benefits
