Job Title: Customer Support Engineer – Image‑Guided Therapy – Sydney South NSW Location: NSW South (Sydney, Illawarra area) Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the wider organization to provide exceptional service to our customers.
- Conduct corrective & preventive maintenance, commission current equipment, install equipment and perform software & hardware upgrades.
- Actively participate in the sales process, providing expert technical support throughout the full customer lifecycle from pre‑sales to implementation and post‑sales support.
- Lead and support technical escalations to resolution, ensuring stakeholders are updated in line with company process.
- Provide best‑in‑class service, troubleshooting and repair on equipment, determining cost‑effective repair solutions to minimize customer downtime.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge through continual training, staying current with new technologies relevant to your area.
- Be available for reasonable additional hours outside business hours, including on‑call support. Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer‑facing service engineering roles.
- Background knowledge of medical equipment such as X‑ray, CT desirable; candidates from various industries are welcome.
- Degree‑level education or equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or experience as an Engineer in the Australian Defence Force specializing in Communications Electronics, RADAR, Instrumentation or Avionics.
- Restricted Electrical Licence highly regarded.
- Strong IT skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Full AU driver’s licence and Australian working rights.
