Bradford Jacobs is assisting an AI drone solutions company, offering cutting‑edge aerial solutions across a range of sectors, including construction, agriculture, real estate, environmental monitoring, and infrastructure inspection. Their mission is to harness drone technology to deliver high‑quality data, insights, and visual content to enable clients to make informed decisions. We are supporting our client to hire a commercially minded and highly motivated Business Development Associate to help grow our customer base and revenue pipeline in Australia. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and progressing new business opportunities — partnering closely with marketing and account management to convert leads into long‑term clients. Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate current business leads through outbound outreach, networking, events, and referrals.
- Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and SDR/BDR activities.
- Manage and progress a pipeline of opportunities through the full sales cycle to close.
- Conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations, and proposal presentations to prospects.
- Develop tailored proposals, pitch decks, and commercial offers in collaboration with solutions teams.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date CRM records (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build market presence.
- Collaborate with Marketing on campaign follow‑up, lead nurturing, and ABM programs.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly new business revenue targets. Required Qualifications & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in a business development, sales, or account management role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding current business or pipeline targets.
- Strong prospecting and relationship‑building skills — comfortable with outbound outreach.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal).Experience using CRM platforms to manage pipeline and activity (Salesforce or HubSpot preferred).
- Self‑motivated, resilient, and target‑driven with a growth mindset.
- Full working rights in Australia. Nice to Have
- Experience selling B2B SaaS, skilled services, or technology solutions.
- Existing network in the target industry vertical.
- Experience with sales engagement tools (Outreach, SalesLoft, Apollo).
- Formal sales training (MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, Sandler, or similar).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or Marketing.
- Fully office‑based role in Sydney.
