About the role As our Maintenance Supervisor, you'll take charge of a high performing team of tradespeople and contractors- guiding, coaching and inspiring them to deliver protected, reliable and effcient operations accross our sites. This is your chance to combine hands on technical knowledge with big picture thinking, all while driving continuous improvement in an environment that values innovation, safety and teamwork. Specifically, the role entails:
- Preventative and planned maintenance (PPM): setting schedules, monitoring progress, reporting on performance and ensuring work is completed on time and to standard
- Maintenance: manage open work orders to completion; prioritise activities and balancing labour and budget
- Breakdowns: manage response to breakdowns, especially those impacting service levels; resource allocation; records management; fatigue management during critical breakdown repairs; ensuring critical parts are on hand
- Budget: ensure maintenance spend in line with budget; support for maintenance labour spend; escalate high cost repairs to Maintenance Manager
- Continuous improvement: building a culture where every team member looks for smarter, safer and more efficient ways of working About you Our ideal candidate holds a trade certificate in a relevant discipline (electrical, fitting / machining, boiler-making for example) who brings both technical skill and leadership confidence to an industrial environment. You'll thrive in this role if you bring:
- Proven experience in planning and scheduling maintenance activities (SAP or MEX experience is a bonus)
- Confidence in supervising teams working under an enterprise agreement
- A solid understanding of managing a maintenance budget
- Passion for safety and a genuine commitement to continuous improvement
- The flexibility to travel across our regional cluster, supporting multiple site and providing consistent leadership where needed
- A home base in Dubbo or within a close commuting distance What we offer:
