The Chance CSR is seeking a forward‑thinking Distribution Centre Manager to lead a major transformation across two distribution centres in Wetherill Park and Glendenning. This high‑impact leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives on driving change, improving performance, and building a culture of continuous improvement in a complex, unionised environment. Key Responsibilities Transformation & Continuous Improvement
- Lead operational transformation across both DCs, improving productivity, efficiency, and ways of working.
- Identify, design, and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma principles.
- Challenge existing processes and proactively drive innovation with a forward‑looking mindset.
- Manage change effectively within a unionised workforce through clear communication and consultation.
- Embed a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement across all levels. Leadership & Communication
- Lead and inspire a large, diverse workforce across two sites.
- Act as the key liaison with union representatives, fostering a constructive working relationship.
- Provide clear, proactive reporting and insights to senior leadership. Data‑Driven Performance
- Use operational data and KPIs to drive decision‑making and improve performance.
- Track, report, and act on key metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives. Culture, Engagement & Safety
- Build a connected, inclusive, and high‑performing team culture across both sites.
- Lead recognition and engagement initiatives to boost morale.
- Champion a zero‑compromise safety culture in a high‑risk environment. About You
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years' experience in warehouse/transport operations with proven transformation delivery.
- Strong leadership background with experience building high‑performing teams.
- Demonstrated success leading change in complex or unionised environments.
- Commercially savvy with a strong focus on results and customer outcomes.
- Skilled in data analysis, planning, and operational problem‑solving.
- Proficient in WMS and logistics systems.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies. What we offer
