Employment Type: Full‑Time, Temporary Start Date: Monday, 1June Application Closing Date: Wednesday, 27May Role Summary StClare's College Waverley is seeking a qualified Teacher to join our highly dedicated and experienced Diverse Learning Team on a temporary basis until the end of Term3. A background as an English Teacher would be advantageous. The role is to support the diverse needs of students in Years7 to12 with a wide range of learning abilities and to work collaboratively with the Leader of Diverse Learning and the wider Diverse Learning team. Responsibilities
- Implement adjustments for students with diverse learning needs to enhance learning growth across all key learning areas.
- Work collaboratively and collegially as a member of the Diverse Learning team.
- Communicate effectively and deal sensitively with students, parents/carers and staff.
- Provide in‑class support to students with mild to moderate cognitive disability.
- Administer one‑on‑one and small group interventions to students with a range of learning abilities.
- Assist in administering a range of standardised assessments, maintain school‑based data and records, and uphold confidentiality.
- Create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students.
- Use and integrate technology across a wide range of administrative and curriculum applications into everyday learning and planning.
- Support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students. Qualifications & Experience
- Evidence of a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
- Experience working with students who have diverse learning needs.
- Familiarity with Catholic Schools NSW PPSD profiles is an advantage. Benefits and Remuneration Competitive remuneration: up to $145,080. Base salary: $90,177 – $129,536.
