- Design & Engineering: Develop electrical designs, drawings, BOMs, and documentation. Ensure compliance with Australian Standards (AS/NZS …). Provide technical support and identify design improvements. Maintain accurate files and documentation.
- Estimating & Reviews: Participate in order reviews, design reviews, and job closure meetings. Provide estimating support when required.
- Testing & Commissioning: Conduct quality inspections and functional testing. Configure system controllers and verify performance. Act as a subject matter expert for troubleshooting and compliance.
- Project Delivery: Attend project meetings and manage contract variations. Coordinate materials, labour, subcontractors, and workshop builds. Maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation. Support smooth project delivery from build to commissioning.
- Product Development & Documentation: Contribute to recent product development and standardisation initiatives. Create and maintain operational manuals and documentation libraries. What You’ll Bring Essential
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
- Solid knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
- Experience designing electrical solutions
- Problem‑solving capability and mechanical design aptitude
- Competency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Desirable
- Experience with DC power systems or UPS
- Background in manufacturing or production environments
