An established and highly regarded engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to help lead and grow its Western Sydney office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys a broad range of projects and wants greater influence, autonomy, and long-term career progression within a respected business.

The company has built a robust reputation across residential, commercial, industrial, education, retail, and infrastructure projects, with a secure pipeline of repeat business and long-standing client relationships.

This role would suit someone with around 8+ years of local consulting experience who is confident managing projects, mentoring junior engineers, and acting as a key technical point of contact within the office.

The Opportunity Lead and deliver a wide variety of structural projects across multiple sectors Work closely with directors and clients on project delivery and technical outcomes Mentor and guide junior engineers and drafters Play a key role in the continued growth of the Western Sydney office Genuine long-term pathway toward leadership responsibilities Strong focus on quality engineering rather than excessive bureaucracy Flexible and supportive working workplace

Ideal Background Around 8+ years structural consulting experience within Australia Strong understanding of reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, and timber design Experience across building structures and mixed project sectors ETABS experience preferred, alongside exposure to software such as RAPT, SpaceGass, RAM Concept, or similar Strong communication and client-facing ability Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team workplace
