About The Role
BMD is experiencing significant growth with a robust pipeline of projects across Australia. We are seeking a
Senior Project Engineer
with a Mechanical Engineering background specialising in water and wastewater infrastructure projects to join our Constructions business unit for works in the Central Coast Region of NSW.
In this role, you will provide onsite engineering services and technical support, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, design and contractual requirements. Drawing on your experience in mechanical systems and water/wastewater projects, you will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions and mentoring Project Engineers, Site Engineers and Graduates.
Key Responsibilities
Lead engineering delivery for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Provide technical expertise in mechanical systems and process equipment.
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental and quality standards.
Collaborate with project teams to achieve cost‐effective and timely outcomes.
Mentor and support junior engineers to foster qualified growth.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Strong background in water and wastewater projects.
Preferably 7+ years' onsite experience in infrastructure delivery.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes.
Self‐motivated with a focus on achieving value‐for‐money results.
