Description
Responsibilities: Managing and assisting with commercial litigation matters from commencement through to resolution.
Drafting pleadings, affidavits, submissions, correspondence, and other court documents.
Conducting legal research and preparing advice for clients.
Managing discovery, evidence gathering, and interlocutory processes.
Preparing matters for mediation, arbitration, and hearings.
Appearing in court and attending procedural hearings where appropriate.
Liaising directly with clients, counsel, experts, and other stakeholders.
Assisting with settlement negotiations and dispute resolution processes.
Maintaining robust file management and ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
Requirements: 3–6 years' post-admission experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
Strong drafting and legal research skills.
Experience managing litigation files with appropriate supervision.
Familiarity with NSW and Federal Court procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small team.
