About the opportunity We are seeking an engaging Technical Trainer passionate about technology who will oversee Axis training offerings, curriculum, and delivery to Axis partners, system integrators, and end customers within Oceania. The role will involve designing tailored training, delivering classroom sessions, webinars, and demos at trade shows, and working closely with HQ Sweden Academy and Sales teams. The position can be based in Sydney or Melbourne, with *****% domestic travel and some international travel. Key Responsibilities Deliver professional, up‐to‐date training in the region: Axis Academy, customized training, demos at trade shows, and other training activities. Initiate, coordinate, and deliver webinars on Axis products and solutions in their regions. Promote Axis training internally and externally. Participate in developing Axis Communications training offering in cooperation with Global Training and the regional Council representative, providing continuous feedback to the academy team and updating modules. Maintain classroom training facilities or secure suitable locations such as hotels or conference centers. Serve as the point of contact for training within the region, both internally and externally. Coordinate and oversee the enrolment/student journey. Actively participate in the global trainer community at Axis. Keep updated on industry news, developments, and legislation regarding video surveillance in the region. Qualifications Experience delivering technical training in an adult learning setting. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routers, switches, VPNs, etc.). Strong knowledge of video transport protocols and compression technologies. Strong knowledge of image quality and photography principles. Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to motivate customers and stakeholders. Familiarity with adult‐learning theories and the ability to deliver training in various modes (classroom, webinars, trade shows). Ability to create, develop and customise training materials and programmes. Deep technical knowledge of Axis products and systems to demonstrate market leadership. Passion for teaching, open‐mindedness, and teamwork with experience in a multinational environment. Fluency in English (written and verbal). Team player, flexible, collaborative, with a positive mindset and a can‐do attitude. Travel Requirements Domestic travel within Oceania and occasional international travel, estimated at *****% of the role.
