Located in the heart of Hurstville, just minutes from the train station, Hurstville Ritz Hotel has an opportunity for a Kitchen Hand to join our growing kitchen team. About the Role We’re on the lookout for a reliable and energetic Cook/Demi Chef to join our team on a casual basis. If you enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment and take pride in keeping things clean and organised, we’d love to hear from you! Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Assisting with food prep, stock rotation.
- Assisting chefs with food preparation, keeping the kitchen clear and organised, operating dishwashers, and ensuring cookware and utensils are ready for service. Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting.
- A robust work ethic and willingness to learn on the job.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Ability to work well in a fast‑paced team environment.
