Role Description This is a full-time in office role located in Hornsby, NSW, for a Structural Design Engineer. The Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for performing structural analysis, developing engineering designs, and creating detailed plans using tools such as AutoCAD. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with the engineering team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and preparing accurate and efficient designs for projects ranging from bridges and access structures to public installations and artworks. Site works to inspect and certify construction progress and undertake compliance assessments will also be required. Qualifications
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and Structural Engineering
- Strong knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and practices
- Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and AutoCAD
- Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with construction consultancy or project management is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Structural or Civil Engineering
- Familiarity with local regulations, codes, and standards is advantageous
- Registration as a Chartered Engineer preferred, eligibility to register a must.
