I am looking for a dynamic Learning & Development Manager to help shape the capability of the people and deliver programs that truly move the dial. This is a hands‑on, strategic and highly collaborative role partnering across all business units in Australia and Recent Zealand for this global organisation in the building & construction materials industry. If you’re passionate about building talent pipelines, designing impactful learning experiences, and elevating L&D; to be a true strategic contributor, this is your opportunity. What You’ll Lead
- Design, develop and deliver high‑quality learning programs aligned to their people strategy.
- Own the annual L&D; calendar, including core programs, talent development pathways and tailored training solutions.
- Localise and roll out global learning programs for the ANZ workforce.
- Lead and coach the L&D; Team to deliver on key initiatives.
- Drive succession, capability and retention outcomes through graduate, apprentice and early‑career pipelines.
- Provide specialist advice on learning frameworks, policy, compliance requirements and vocational training pathways.
- Partner closely with the People Team to support strategic workforce objectives and organisational capability.
- Champion DEI initiatives, with a particular focus on programs that support women’s development and progression. Who You Are To Be Successful
- Experience in a large industrial organisation, ideally within a global workplace.
- A collaborative, hands‑on self‑starter style, someone who gets things done and brings people along.
- The polish and confidence to represent L&D; ANZ in forums with international L&D; leads.
- Strong consulting, influencing and relationship‑building skills.
- A practical, commercial mindset with the ability to reinvent and elevate the L&D; function.
- Experience working with both blue‑and white‑collar workforces.
- Background or exposure to DEI initiatives
- Exceptional facilitation, communication and project management capability.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Education, Psychology, Business, Change, or related fields. Why join this business?
