- Be an active, passionate Christian who can wholeheartedly affirm and live out theBCE Statement of Faith.
- Demonstrate the ability to cultivate, promote and uphold the Christian ethos of the school through collaborative, team‑oriented leadership in line with ourEducational Charter.
- Possess a strong understanding of and commitment to student wellbeing.
- Show passion, skill and professionalism in teaching, including alignment with the DCS Teaching & Learning Plan.
- Work harmoniously and respectfully with colleagues in supervisory, collegial and advisory contexts.
- Hold appropriate tertiary teaching qualifications, NSW teacher accreditation (or be eligible to obtain it), and a current Working With Children Check.
- Have familiarity with the NSW and Australian curriculum (or demonstrate the capacity to quickly develop this knowledge).
