Venue Manager - Dolphin Hotel (New South Wales)

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Duty Manager with a strong focus on dining service and bar operations to join our iconic Surry Hills pub, The Dolphin Hotel. About The Role As Duty Manager, you’ll lead service across both the bar and on the floor, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience from start to finish. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced hospitality environment, leads by example, and brings positive energy to every shift. What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Duty Manager in a busy pub or restaurant
- Strong background in dining service and bar operations
- Confident leading front-of-house teams during busy service periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality
- Ability to maintain high service standards across restaurant and bar areas
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
- Experience training, mentoring, and motivating staff
- Great attention to detail and organisational skills
- Friendly, professional, and hands‑on approach
