Training & Apprenticeships Coordinator Location: Parramatta, Regional/Remote NSW Travel Rate: $520/day Super Duration: 18/05//12/ Hours: 8 hours/day | 40 hours/week APG Workforce is currently seeking a Training & Apprenticeships Coordinator to support a major Aboriginal Housing Office program delivering housing maintenance and workforce development initiatives across regional and remote NSW communities. This role will work closely with project managers, training providers, contractors and community stakeholders to coordinate apprenticeship and training pathways throughout the Murdi Paaki region. The position is based at 6 Parramatta Square with a hybrid work arrangement. The team currently attends the office Tuesdays and Thursdays, however flexibility is available depending on travel and location requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate apprenticeship and training activities across multiple communities
- Liaise with TAFE NSW, contractors, group training organisations and stakeholders
- Support workforce development and community engagement initiatives
- Assist with stakeholder coordination and program delivery
- Travel to regional and remote NSW communities as required About You
- Solid communication and relationship management skills
- Comfortable working with regional and remote communities
- Able to manage stakeholder engagement in challenging environments
- Background in construction, training, project coordination, community engagement or government programs highly regarded
- Previous experience working with Aboriginal communities beneficial but not essential Travel Regular travel is required, generally 23 day trips approximately twice per month. Accommodation, hire vehicles and travel costs are covered. Requirements
