As the Customer Solutions Manager
- Group Travel , you will play a critical role in supporting the sales team, quoting group opportunities across air, ground transfers, and accommodation. You will create accurate, detailed, innovative and compelling travel programs in response to new customer proposal briefs. You will work closely with the sales team including other internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure all proposals exceed client expectations while also meeting business objectives. What you will be doing:
- Sourcing of quotes for flights, accommodation, transport, venues, and ancillary program elements efficiently and accurately.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ensuring successful preparation of Request for Proposals (RFP’s) and quotations including research, accurate and compelling content.
- Developing tailored proposals and detail accurate budgets that align with client needs, and project goals to deliver on a profit we are proud of.
- Driving supplier engagement through strategic negotiation, collaborative partnerships, and innovative sourcing to maximise value and identify cost-saving or revenue-enhancing opportunities.
- Managing multiple RFPs and quotes simultaneously, ensuring productive delivery and adherence to internal and client deadlines. What you will bring to the role:
- Background in corporate travel, meetings, incentives, conferences, or events.
- Flight quote sourcing experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas and ability to collaborate with teams.
- A strong emphasis on exceptional customer service, attention to detail, financial accountability.
- Strong knowledge of travel systems, airline group processes, and supplier negotiation.
- Time management – ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound knowledge of procurement, product and market trends and negotiating skills.
- Familiarity with travel technology platforms (GDS, group booking tools, CRM systems).
