Construction Labourer & Operator (Eagle Farm)

Join the dynamic team at LGI Ltd as an Operator/Labourer (Infrastructure Operations). This full-time position is based in **Brisbane** at some of our landfill sites and offers the opportunity to play a key role in the successful operations of our infrastructure projects throughout Queensland. **The role is based in Brisbane but will require semi regular work away from home across our QLD Sites for periods of 2-4 weeks.**

**What you'll be doing**
- Operate a range of heavy machinery and equipment to support the construction and maintenance of infrastructure assets
- Installation of poly pipelines
- Laser levels
- Drill rig experience and competency would be an advantage
- Butt welding or electro-fusion welding tickets would be advantageous
- Experience working in a landfill environment would be advantageous
- Excellent safety record and awareness
- Undertake general labouring tasks such as site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with the wider infrastructure operations team to achieve project goals

**What we're looking for**
- Skilled and ticketed labourers
- immediate start with recent experience
- Ability to be fit-tested in house
- Previous experience in a similar labourer or operator role, ideally within the construction or infrastructure industry
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating a range of heavy machinery and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Relevant licences and certifications, skid steer, truck, such as a forklift licence or construction induction card
- Your own reliable transport

Pay: $28.00
- $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40
- 45 per week
