**Job Purpose**
To undertake the scoping, quoting and management of large remediation projects, achieving the best results possible to ensure client satisfaction and profitability.
**Duties Tasks**
Business development
Make and develop recent business relationships with clients
Manage a portfolio of existing clients and build ongoing relationships with them
**Scope and quote new projects**
Attend sites after property disasters to accurately scope projects, including time and resources required to carry out each project
Conduct effective and accurate initial damage assessments during walk-throughs with clients, site contacts and adjusters
Collect accurate and meaningful samples from job sites to assist with scoping (eg non-viable air and surface mould samples, carbon/soot samples, E. coli samples, meth samples). Submit samples to the laboratory with all appropriate information, and correctly interpret and utilise the results.
Effectively assess who the key stakeholders in a job are, each of their requirements, and how the company can meet these requirements.
Understand clients needs and recommend solutions while understanding the broader scope of the restoration activities and how it affects all constituents.
Use Encircle, SimPro and other software to create formalised scopes and quotes for submission
Assign costs to scopes to create accurate quotes with desirable profit margins
Accurately budget for the actual expenses on each project
Ensure scope and methods meet the specific requirements of particular TPAs and clients
**Project communication**
Clearly communicate scope, costings and job progress with relevant parties (eg adjusters, site contacts, clients, Operations Manager, job supervisors)
Initiate timely discussions with relevant parties if jobs are expected to exceed budget or schedule
Receive communication from all staff on a job, make necessary decisions as appropriate, and pass on any communication to the Operations Manager as required
Prepare reports, documentation and other job-related administrative documents
**Management of the site**
Consistently and accurately identify potential site hazards (e.g., asbestos, lead paint, mould) and take appropriate next steps to minimise risks
Conduct SWMs and arrange other vendor approval requirements as needed
Consider individual site logistics and the appropriate strategiesfor caring out jobs in the most efficient way possible
Follow and enforce all policies/procedures/regulations as dictated by State and Federal entities
**Management of resources**
Forecast consumables and equipment requirements and initiate timely requests for resources
Track usage of consumables and other resources against quoted usage to ensure efficient resource use
Notify Operations Manager when there is a risk of the project not meeting expected budged, profit margin or schedule
Initiate timely requests for additional resources and consumables before and during a project
Create and maintain job activity paperwork and job site inventories.
Solicit, receive and approve proposals from Subcontractors to perform work
**Management of staff**
Manage, support and assist with Project Supervisors
Allocate and distribute staff across a project
Manage and supervise work of staff throughout the project to ensure quality control and customer satisfaction
Ensure Project Supervisors follow the approved scope
Run and oversee site/project toolbox meetings as required Training of staff
Be involved in meetings and staff training events to develop staff and their work quality, efficiency and customer service skills
Train staff in job tasks while on job sites
**Other ad-hoc duties**
Fill in when other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities require completion
Travel across Australia (overnight to week-long trips) to conduct inspections, manage projects, train staff, engage in businessdevelopment, attend industry events, and engage with relevant clients and stakeholders.
