Payroll Officer (Eagle Farm)

The Client

u&u; Recruitment Partners are proud to be recruiting an experienced Payroll Officer to join a collaborative, high-performing finance team on permanent basis.

The Role

Fortnightly payroll processing for 400+ permanent and contract employees; Onboarding and maintaining employee files; Understanding of payroll legislation and award interpretation; Termination, redundancy and leave calculations; Uploading payroll into the general ledger; Payroll reconciliation; and

Query management.

About You

Three + years proven experience as a payroll officer within a similar sized organisation; knowledge of Ascender payroll software highly advantageous but not essential; Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information; Good understanding of payroll regulations and laws; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; and

High level computer proficiency in MS Office Suite.

The Benefits

Salary circa $85,000
- $95,000 + 12.75% super, depending on experience; Eagle Farm location; One day per week work from home once trained; and

Working as part of a small team-oriented team environment.
