Cafe Manager (Murarrie)

**About Us**: Sonny's Cafe is a beloved community hub, renowned for its warm atmosphere and exceptional specialty coffee from Single O. We pride ourselves on delivering an outstanding experience to every customer, fostering a sense of community, and serving high-quality coffee and food.

**Position**: Full-Time Cafe Manager

**Hours**:

- In-Store: 38 hours per week
- Remote: 2 hours per week for staff correspondence, rostering and other management duties

**Schedule**:

- Tuesday
- Friday: 5:30am
- 1:30pm
- Saturday: 6:00am
- 12:30pm

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily operations of the cafe to ensure smooth service and high standards
- Supervise and manage cafe staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure exceptional customer service and handle any customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships
- Monitor and manage financial performance, including sales, expenses, and profitability
- Implement and maintain health, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers
- Foster a positive work workplace and team culture

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience in a cafe or similar setting
- At least 1 year of experience working with specialty coffee
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Passion for coffee and community engagement

Pay: $60,000.00
- $65,000.00 per year
