Job Description

**Your Opportunity to Join Our Team**

We are seeking proactive and skilled **Maintenance Fitters** to join our **Primary Processing Site in Murarrie**. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure smooth and productive production operations.

We offer flexible shift options to suit your lifestyle, including **day, afternoon, and night shifts** with full-time, fixed rosters available.

**Available Positions**:

- **Afternoon Shift Frontline Fitter**
- **Monday to Friday**:

- **38 hours per week**:

- **1:00 PM
- 9:06 PM** (1300-2106)
- **Full-time, fixed roster**
- **Day Shift Frontline Fitter**
- **Monday to Friday**:

- **38 hours per week**:

- **5:00 AM
- 1:06 PM** (0500-1306)
- **Full-time, fixed roster**
- **Night Shift Frontline Fitter**
- **Monday to Friday**:

- **38 hours per week**:

- **9:00 PM
- 5:06 AM** (2100-0506)
- **Full-time, fixed roster**:

- **Includes routine strip down and set-up of plant for nightly cleaning rotation**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform **preventative and reactive maintenance** on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair **mechanical faults** to minimise downtime
- Conduct regular **equipment inspections** to ensure reliability and safety
- Assist with **plant upgrades, installations, and modifications**:

- Collaborate with **production teams** to resolve mechanical issues
- Maintain **accurate records** of maintenance activities and parts used
- Follow **workplace health and safety standards** at all times

**What You Bring to the Role**:

- **Trade qualification** as a Fitter or Mechanical Engineer (essential)
- **Previous experience** in a high-volume manufacturing or food processing environment (preferred)
- **Strong mechanical aptitude** with problem-solving skills
- **Ability to work independently** and as part of a team
- **High attention to detail** and commitment to safety
- **Flexibility** to work day, afternoon, or night shifts as required
- **Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems** (desirable)
