Description
Overview (Text Only): Foot Locker’s Store & Workplace Services team is driving digital transformation in our retail store and corporate environments. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for building POS systems by installing software and working with third party installers to get hardware installed Responsibilities:

- Work closely with our Sr. Project Coordinators and vendors to design and recommend the technical architecture of store systems and infrastructure.
- Partner with internal and external teams to coordinate and support installation/de-installation in accordance with new, remodeling/relocating and closing stores; special events; and new hardware implementations. Travel as needed to support.
- Day-to-day system management of technical solutions and back-end interfaces.
- Analyze, document, and provide recommendations for system and/or support practice improvement opportunities.
- Monitor support tickets to ensure timely response to field and corporate users.
- Critical Period Support
- partner with FSC, Network/Telecom, Help Desk, and Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely processing goals are met.
- Assist monitoring team when needed for fixes.
- Complete Deployments as requested by the business via xAdmin and PowerShell scripts.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks when needed.
- Willingness to alter work schedule to accommodate business needs.
- Ability to travel >10%
- Must be able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time.

Qualifications:

- Experience working on cross functional teams, multitasking, and managing time independently with little direction.
- Experience with hardware, peripherals, and their staging.
- Technically proficient in key relevant areas (Linux/Unix, Red Hat/Debian, VMware Virtualization). Broad familiarity with Store Technology systems, POS infrastructure, and emerging Store tech areas.
- Strong understanding of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10)
- Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills; able to use vendor documentations, online resources, etc. to troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
- Understand POS system architecture and makeup.
- Course work and/or hands on experience in a Linux environment preffered.
- Previous retail experience preffered.
