Position: Full-Time Cafe Manager

Hours:

In-Store: 38 hours per week

Remote: 2 hours per week for staff correspondence, rostering and other management duties

Schedule:

Tuesday
- Friday: 5:30am
- 1:30pm

Saturday: 6:00am
- 12:30pm

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the cafe to ensure smooth service and high standards

Supervise and manage cafe staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations

Ensure exceptional customer service and handle any customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally

Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships

Monitor and manage financial performance, including sales, expenses, and profitability

Implement and maintain health, safety, and cleanliness standards

Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers

Foster a positive work workplace and team culture

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience in a cafe or similar setting

At least 1 year of experience working with specialty coffee

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Passion for coffee and community engagement
