Maintenance Fitter (Eagle Farm)

Meka Recruitment are working with a large manufacturing and distribution company and due to their growth and expansion they are looking for a full time Maitenance fitter to join their team in Eagle farm.

This company is a family owned and operated business that has a robust focus on team culture and work life balance, with Monthly RDOS and team building exercises.

This position is Monday to Friday work from 6am-2pm with weekly overtime available.

About the role
- Working to maintain the plant & ancillary equipment.
- Contributing to continuous improvement by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work safety, practices, and procedures.
- Participating in root cause analysis activities
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping
- Commitment to maintaining health, safety and security standards and principles, both within own workplace and through the identification of potential risks
- Trade Qualified Fitter and Turner
- Minimum 5 years experience outside of your apprenticeship.
- Open QLD licence and own transport to get to and from work
- Relevant mechanical and fabrication experience
- Previous experience or exposure to in the production or manufacturing environment

**Salary**: $40.00
- $45.00 per hour

- 45 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
