Maintenance Fitter Eagle Farm

Meka Recruitment are working with a large manufacturing and distribution company and due to their growth and expansion they are looking for a full time Maitenance fitter to join their team in Eagle farm.

This company is a family owned and operated business that has a robust focus on team culture and work life balance, with Monthly RDOS and team building exercises.

This position is Monday to Friday work from 6am-2pm with weekly overtime available.

About the role

Working to maintain the plant & ancillary equipment.

Contributing to continuous improvement by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work safety, practices, and procedures.

Participating in root cause analysis activities

Maintaining high standards of housekeeping

Commitment to maintaining health, safety and security standards and principles, both within own workplace and through the identification of potential risks

Trade Qualified Fitter and Turner

Minimum 5 years experience outside of your apprenticeship.

Open QLD licence and own transport to get to and from work

Relevant mechanical and fabrication experience

Previous experience or exposure to in the production or manufacturing workplace
