About The Role: Commissioning, testing and maintaining HV Protections systems / schemes, experience with IEC61850 / GOOSE communications is highly desirable Commissioning, testing and maintaining HV Substations secondary systems and primary plant Commissioning, testing and maintaining various HV/LV Plant/Assets. Commissioning, testing and maintaining Power Generation Systems. Commissioning, testing and maintaining Power Transformers. Provide technical support and training to technicians. Provide leadership and supervision to technicians. Competent in preparation of commissioning/testing documentation, protection test plans and create detailed technical reports on completion of works. About You: Preferable "A Grade" (Fitter and Mechanic) Electrical Workers License or Engineering Degree must be Engineers Australia recognised. Minimum 3 years' experience. HV Switching Ticket preferred. Experience with IEC61850 and GOOSE messaging through IED Scout viewed favourably. Knowledge of appropriate Australian and International Standards. Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures. Proven ability meeting project quality, schedule and budget requirements. Ability to promote a high standard of safety, professionalism and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
