**Permanent Recruitment Consultant
- Childcare Sector**

We’re looking for a driven, strategic, and high-performing recruiter who’s focused on building meaningful, long-term hiring solutions. This role calls for someone who works with integrity, communicates with impact, and can navigate complex client needs with professionalism and care.

**About the Role**: You’ll be responsible for managing a permanent recruitment desk within the early childhood education and care sector. This is a 360° role: sourcing exceptional talent, building deep client relationships, and navigating the intricacies of the sector with confidence and precision.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Minimum 4+ years of 360 recruitment experience, with demonstrable success in permanent placements across childcare or early learning sector.
- Proven success in permanent recruitment, ideally in education, healthcare, or a similarly complex, compliance-driven sector.
- Exceptional business development skills and have built a large client portfolio.
- Deep understanding of retained search, headhunting techniques, and complex stakeholder management.
- Data-driven mindset: you know your numbers and can translate KPIs into performance strategy.
- Advanced communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills — both written and verbal.
- Experience using modern ATS/CRM platforms, specifically Bullhorn, HubSpot, Boolean search, market mapping, and competitor analysis.
- A degree in Business or HR-related is preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen
- you understand how to manage margins, negotiate effectively, and build sustainable pipelines.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage job vacancy advertising, coordinate interviews, assess applicants, and lead staff hiring.
- Keep and update employee records using our HR information system.
- Run the staff onboarding program, including briefing new hires on service terms, pay, and advancement pathways.
- Gather and organise employment details from hiring managers — job descriptions, wage info, and employment conditions.
- Provide current vacancy updates to both potential applicants and hiring managers.
- Facilitate negotiation of employment agreements and compensation terms with recent recruits.
- Support employee engagement by coordinating consultative committees and workplace participation initiatives.

**Salary**:Base + Super + Commissions ($130K OTE)

Pay: $80,000.00
- $95,000.00 per year
