**Role and Responsibility**
- Create a stimulating, positive and appropriate environment to foster and support the development of the children.
- Communicate positively and openly with children and their families on an ongoing basis.
- Conduct observation and evaluation of children's development.
- Assist children in daily routines.
- Respond to the emotional and developmental needs of the children.
- Be a positive and collaborative team member.

**Qualifications**
- **Cert III (or Working Towards) in Early Childhood Services**:

- Current first aid certificate,
- CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate,
- Current Working with Children Check,
- Child Protection training.

**Essential Skills**
- Positive attitude is very key to us, we’re building a harmonious team that’s like family.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and NQS, and the ability to implement both effectively.
- Experience in working cooperatively in a team environment.
- Passion to contribute to the development of children.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent computer literacy and written writing skills.
- Time management skills.

**Desirable**
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
