Chef (Moama)

Chef – Full Time Pay: AU$75,000.00 – AU$90,000.00 per year plus superannuation. Join a passionate kitchen team delivering high-quality dining experiences across our venue. Rich River Golf Club is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our professional culinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment, contributing to a range of dining experiences for our members, guests, and private functions including weddings, corporate events, and conferences. What you’ll do: In this hands-on role, you’ll work collaboratively with our kitchen team to ensure consistent food quality and presentation across all service areas. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, cooking, portioning, freezing, and preserving food across a variety of service styles.
- Operating all sections of the kitchen, including grill, pans, fryers, larder, pastry, butchery, and bain-marie.
- Maintaining a clean, protected, and organised kitchen in accordance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards.
- Assisting in supervision and training of kitchenhands, apprentices, or cooks as required.
- Supporting kitchen operations during high-volume periods and special functions. What you’ll bring: To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or relevant experience in a similar role.
- A genuine passion for food and the hospitality industry.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.
- A high level of personal presentation and hygiene.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, evenings, and public holidays. Why join Rich River Golf Club?
