About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cook/Chef to join our team at The Shamrock hotel Echuca', a renowned restaurant located in the vibrant riverside town of Echuca, Victoria. As a full time Cook/Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious meals for our customers in a fast-paced and collaborative kitchen workplace.

What you'll be doing Preparing and cooking a diverse range of dishes from our menu, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation Assisting in the planning and development of new menu items, providing input on flavour profiles and dish composition Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen workspace, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of meals Providing guidance and mentorship to junior kitchen staff, sharing your expertise and culinary skills

What we're looking for Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cook or Chef in a fast-paced restaurant, hotel pub and catering environment Ability to work effectively in a team, with excellent communication. Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene Passion for creating delicious, visually appealing meals that delight our customers
