Training & Compliance Officer (Echuca)

**Responsibilities**

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and compliant workplace while fostering a positive and engaged workforce. Your responsibilities will include:

- **Food Safety and Quality**: Develop and implement food safety and quality management systems (e.g., HACCP) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- **Training and Development**: Develop and deliver training programs on food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements to all employees.
- **Audits and Inspections**: Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to assess compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, including local, state, and federal laws.
- **Documentation and Recordkeeping**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all training activities, audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
- **Incident Management**: Investigate and document food safety incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for improvement in food safety and quality systems and implement necessary changes.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in food science, or a related field.
- Certified Food Safety Professional (CFSP) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the food industry, with a focus on food safety and quality.
- Strong understanding of food safety principles and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
