Alcohol and Other Drugs Wellbeing Support Worker Greater Bendigo Loddon Campaspe Mental Health and Wellbeing Local Allied Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement2021-2026 – (WW20-WW24) 40 hours per fortnight Part Time, Permanent Echuca Regional Health proudly serves the Shire of Campaspe and Murray River Council communities, with Echuca and Moama located side by side on the banks of the Murray River. About the Role: Applications are sought from suitably qualified Support Workers to expand their career working at the Greater Bendigo Loddon Campaspe Mental Health and Wellbeing – The Local with Echuca Regional Health. This is an exciting new role within an innovative service that is aimed at transforming Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs care and support for people aged 26 and over. This position will play a key role in providing high-quality care, tailored to meet the individual needs of each patient. Key responsibilities include:
- Complete screening to identify and respond to initial needs, considering the complex interactions between mental illness and substance
- Provide a holistic, coordinated care approach through liaison, advocacy, collaboration and networking with external services to improve participant outcomes
- Facilitate communication, transfers and referral pathways into Area Mental Health and Wellbeing services as clinically indicated
- Participate in professional development, training, consumer review, monthly clinical and line management supervision and secondary consultation for all staff within the Local
- Actively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requested Qualifications/experience required:
- Diploma qualification in Alcohol and Other Drugs, Community Services, Mental Health or related discipline
- A Current Australian Drivers License
- Well-developed interpersonal communication skills Desirable:
