As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Retail Store Assistant to join our Dandenong team. This is a hands-on role within a specialised industry, offering long-term opportunity for the right candidate. About the Role: This position involves a mix of customer service, sales support, and general store operations. You will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting with product enquiries both in-store and over the phone. Please note: This is a technical role with a steep learning curve (approximately 3 months). Full training will be provided, and we are looking for someone committed to learning and growing within the business. Daily Tasks
- Opening and closing the shop each day
- Serving walk in customers
- Learn about how auto parts work in a trailer
- Stock counting and replenishment
- Preparing Click and Collect orders
- Maintaining a clean and organized shop
- Inventory management
- Coordinating the queries regarding orders
- Answering phone calls and taking orders Requirements of the Role
- Prior retail knowledge is helpful
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work well under pressure and make informed decisions
- Good communication and computer skills
- Effective organizational and time-management skills
- Well-presented and reliable
