Dispensary Technician (Chelsea Heights)

**Part-Time or Casual Dispensary Technician**

**Wells Road Pharmacy** is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dispensary Technician to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, offering a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the health and well-being of our community.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accurately and efficiently dispense medications according to prescriptions.
- Prepare and pack dose administration aids (DAAs) with meticulous attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean and organized dispensary setting.
- Assist pharmacists with various tasks, including stock control, ordering, and patient inquiries.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
- Adhere to all relevant pharmacy regulations and safety procedures.

**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Dispensary Technician in a community pharmacy setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy procedures and medication safety.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software, particularly **FRED NXT**.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience with DAA preparation and packaging.
- Knowledge of common medications and their therapeutic uses.
- Experience with medication reconciliation.

Pay: $54,783.52
- $110,430.74 per year
