Draftsperson (Edinburgh)

Civilmart is an Australian owned national manufacturer of civil concrete products supplying to sectors such as residential development, local governments, water authorities, civil infrastructure, irrigation, the plumbing, and drainage market. We are renowned for being one of the largest producers of precast concrete in Australia! With our operations now expanding across QLD, NSW, VIC, and SA across 24 different sites! The Draftsperson plays a critical role in the design and documentation of precast concrete products, ensuring that all drawings meet precise specifications and industry standards. This position requires a blend of technical drafting skills and an understanding of precast manufacturing processes. The Draftsperson will collaborate closely with sales, engineers and production teams to produce accurate technical drawings and will also contribute to business improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for efficiency enhancements. Additionally, the Draftsperson will support the rollout and integration of recent software tools aimed at improving design processes and overall productivity. Skills & Experience
- Experience in Drafting and Engineering
- Strong understanding of quality, safety and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to assess issues and implement solutions
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to meet deadlines
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; HSEQ systems experience advantageous
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence, willingness to travel, and valid Australian working rights
