Edinburgh Health Centre is located 25km North of Adelaide, at RAAF Base Edinburgh. This super-base accommodates 3500 personnel from the Australian Army and RAAF, as well as being home to the RAAF Institute of Aviation Medicine. The health centre operates a 16 bed low dependency ward 24/7. It also provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, dental, physiotherapy, mental health, pharmaceutical and rehabilitation services. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30
- 15:30 Monday
- Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts). **- What**you**’**ll**do**
- Deliver high-quality mental health care to Defence members
- Conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care.
- Undertaking assessments, interventions, managing medications, formulating treatment and care plans for individuals and group education sessions
- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount **- What you bring**
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- One of the following:

- ACMHN credentialed
- Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing
- Mental Health trained nurse / UK trained undergraduate Mental Health Nurse
- Minimum two years’ Post RN general registration experience within last five years in mental health within a Primary Healthcare Setting or Specialist Mental Health Setting
- Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in ‘Focussed Psychological Strategies’ and ‘Psychological Therapy’ as per Medicare Schedule
- Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
- Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
