About the OPPORTUNITY

We have a great opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our Manufacturing and Support team. The Production Supervisor is responsible to ensure all operations within a manufacturing environment are produced with the most cost effective and efficient use of resources, whilst meeting all safety, quality, cost, delivery and people requirements and performing all work in to the technical requirements. This role requires demonstrated Visible Leadership, working collaboratively with integrated teams, engaging and communicating with employees across a range of roles and leadership levels.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- People Performance, Development and Collaboration
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships across your team, peers, customers, suppliers, partners and stakeholders, ensuring interactions within the team are handled effectively and take responsibility for resolving all issues at the earliest possible stage.
- Understand the capability of your team and allocate work appropriately to maximise team performance, giving regular feedback to team members and peers on individual contribution and performance whilst taking corrective action where performance of individuals within the team falls below standards of performance
- Actively support the development of individuals within the team ensuring accurate records of skills and training are maintained
- Deliver effective team briefings offering time to listen to feedback and questions and using influence, support the team and peers and closing out the feedback loop once resolved
- Management and delivery of strategic plan for your specific area of the business
- Plan and co-ordinate assigned activities to meet agreed schedules to the standard required
- Identify and take action on continuous improvement opportunities (technical, schedule, quality and cost)
- Deliver a positive and productive work environment, through effective leadership of all team members and employee engagement
- Supporting development of touch labour budgets, monitoring and meeting and project budgets
- Ensure Compliance with the Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) & Quality Policies and Procedures, mitigating risks and improving overall performance for your specific business area
- Responsible for you and your team awareness and adhere to all internal, legislative, regulatory and contractual requirements relevant to work
- Respond appropriately to non-conformances in compliance with requirements and report as required where escalation is necessary. Share lessons learned

About YOU
- Trade qualification or role experience in the manufacturing domain
- Demonstrated experience in Leadership and Management of Trades Teams
- Demonstrated knowledge of Production Management Systems particularly in a multi shift environment
- Ability to generate and use plans and schedules to achieve effective time and resource management
- Highly developed communication skills, including written, oral, listening and presentation skills
- Highly developed technical analytical abilities and attention to detail
- Team player and proven commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to interact effectively with colleagues within and outside immediate team, to implement business requirements
- Ability to motivate individuals and teams across a number of business areas, to shape and implement business requirements
- Ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer and business requirements, with appropriate stakeholder management
- Ability to negotiate with and influence internal and/ or external stakeholders in a way which generates business benefit whilst maintaining key relationships
- Excellent time management
- Baseline clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance is required
