About Us: Quarry & Mining Manufacture (QMM) is a subsidiary of Tasmea Limited and we offer a comprehensive range of design, manufacture, fabrication, and maintenance services to construction materials (concrete, quarrying, cement, asphalt), mining, minerals, infrastructure, recycling and metal refining sectors. The Opportunity: As Leading Hand, you’ll assist with daily operations, managing people, projects, and equipment to ensure every job is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard. This is a hands on role and you will be working on the tools with the crew from time to time. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist daily operations to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Champion safety, ensuring a compliant and risk-aware worksite
- Assist managing Project logistics, including vehicles, cranes, and welding equipment
- Support and train your team, acting as their go-to point of contact
- Maintain open communication with Supervisors and management What You'll Bring:
- Trade qualified as an Engineering Tradesperson – Fabrication
- High Risk Licence – Forklift, Rigging and Dogging (preferred)
- Proven leadership and organisational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and a team-first mindset
- Solid understanding of Work Health & Safety (WHS) standards What We Offer:
