The role As Senior Community Compliance Inspector, you will have an active hands-on role that actively participates in and leads Councils Fire Prevention function and a range of field-based duties that protect public safety, environmental quality and community amenity. At the same time, you will support and mentor the team of three Community Compliance Inspectors by providing operational leadership, expert regulatory advice and coordination of routine compliance and enforcement activities. You will support operational decision-making, and exercise delegated regulatory authority across a range of legislation including responsibility for compliance matters including fire prevention, routine scheduled and responsive patrols and inspections, local laws and permits, animal management including dog and cat registrations, routine parking patrols and local nuisance and litter control.
