Min exp required
- 12-18 months in a similar role at a free range egg farm

Role description: Implementing biosecurity protocols and monitoring for signs of avian diseases (e.g., Newcastle disease, Avian Influenza).

Formulating or adjusting feed programs to maintain optimal egg production and bird health through careful and considered management of ACV, Garlic, Seaweed, Minerals.

Conducting physical inspections, administering vaccines, and providing treatments or medications as prescribed.

Planning and coordinating the cycle of poultry production (e.g., scheduling the arrival of new pullets and the removal of spent hens).

Maintaining and evaluating production records, such as feed-to-egg conversion ratios, mortality rates, and shell quality data.

Managing automated climate control systems (ventilation, temperature, and humidity) and troubleshooting automated feeding or egg-collection machinery.

Conducting egg grading and ensuring all produce meets food safety and quality standards for sale.

Wash, Spray and Prepare caravans, feeders, netting and waterers for new batches

Training current staff or contractors in farm safety and animal welfare standards.
